A group of passionate student Pet Cadets, inspired by a workshop (Professor Paws) on responsible pet ownership, launched a campaign to promote "Adopt, Don't Shop" and owner responsibility. Recognizing the power of media, they chose to spread their message through social platforms and RTHK’s In the Common Room radio programme. There, they have discussed insights from China's pet-friendly policies, such as residential pet allowances, pet-friendly malls, and transport access, while emphasizing that policy changes depend on citizens' readiness and responsible pet ownership. One step at a time, we can make it!
